LieberLieber partners from Japan, Italy, Scotland, Germany and Austria recently met for an exclusive three-day training course in Vienna. The course presented the latest developments relating to LemonTree and provided practical insights into day-to-day work with MBSE (model-based software and systems engineering). The great success of the event underscores the desire to continuously expand the partner landscape in order to better inform the market about LieberLieber’s offerings.
Vienna – The three-day event with LieberLieber partners consisted of a mixture of technical input, lively discussions and relaxed leisure activities. Danja Stiegler, who recently became partner manager at LieberLieber, said: “It was very interesting for me to get to know the various people from our partner companies better. We wanted not only to provide in-depth technical insights, but above all to take advantage of the valuable opportunities for exchange and strengthening our partnerships. We would like to thank all participants for their friendly commitment and we are already looking forward to the next steps together.”

Partners as a strategic growth factor
Partner management is particularly important for a highly specialised company such as LieberLieber because it works with limited resources but still has to serve complex markets, technologies and customer requirements. Good partnerships act as a lever that increases reach, competence and credibility. Dr Konrad Wieland, CEO of LieberLieber, comments: ‘For us as a provider in the field of model-based software and system development, partner management is a strategic growth factor that we have been specifically developing for several months with an experienced employee. Among other things, partners have specific local market knowledge and proven sales and distribution channels. This enables us to strengthen our sales and accelerate project execution.’
Varied programme
The first day of the partner meeting began with an update on the Enterprise Architect modelling platform. Philipp Kalenda, Head of Consulting at LieberLieber, then gave an interactive introduction to the LemonTree toolchain (desktop to automation). On the second day, the focus was on LemonTree.Connect, versioning with SmartGit and important new features relating to configuration, support and licensing. The final day was all about SysML V2 and offered a glimpse into the future of MBSE. Horst Kargl, Principal Consultant at sister company Sparx Systems Europe, presented an outlook on Trechoro – the upcoming ‘Enterprise Architect for SysML V2’ platform.
Exclusive insights into the LemonTree roadmap
The event concluded with an insight into the LemonTree Roadmap 2026, which was presented for the first time. The highlights prepared by the LieberLieber development team are:
- SysML V2 in LemonTree – the next evolutionary step for modern, collaborative model management
- LemonTree Dashboard – enables intuitive versioning of models without Git knowledge
- LemonTree4Codebeamer – takes versioning and comparison of Codebeamer baselines to a new level
“The positive feedback confirms that we were able to show our sales partners how important they are for the continued positive development of our company. Our task is, of course, to continuously develop our product range and to support our partners with advice and assistance. Part of this partner strategy includes training courses such as this one at our headquarters in Vienna, which are very popular for professional and personal exchange. I am looking forward to many interesting customer projects in which we can work with our partners to demonstrate and implement the great opportunities offered by MBSE. At the same time, we are working to attract new partners in order to make even better use of our market opportunities,” Wieland sums up.
